Privacy Policy

DUT (Daily Update Tracker) is a team accountability tool operated by Cedimaker, owned by Joseph T.D. Narnor Jnr., based in Ghana. Our platform is accessible at dut.cedimaker.com. We send your team one daily question via WhatsApp, SMS, or email and display answers in a leader dashboard. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: hello@cedimaker.com

We collect only what is necessary to run the service: • Name and email address (when you create an account) • Phone number (when you choose WhatsApp or SMS delivery) • Your daily answers to the question we send • Delivery preferences: what time you want to receive the question and which channel • Industry and team name • Payment information is handled entirely by Paystack and Stripe — we never store card numbers • IP address and browser type for security and fraud prevention

We use your data solely to provide and improve the DUT service: • To send you the daily question at your chosen time via your chosen channel • To display your answers to your team leader in the dashboard • To send you reminders if you have not answered • To send you weekly accountability summaries • To send transactional emails (welcome, trial expiry, billing receipts) • To detect abuse and protect platform security We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as listed below.

Your daily answers are visible to: • You (in your personal dashboard) • Your team leader (in their team dashboard) • Cedimaker staff, for support purposes only Team members cannot see each other's answers — only the team leader has full visibility.

DUT uses the following third-party services to operate: • Supabase — database and authentication (data stored in EU servers) • Resend — transactional email delivery • Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API — WhatsApp message delivery • Africa's Talking — SMS delivery in Ghana and Africa • Paystack — payment processing for GHS payments • Stripe — payment processing for international payments • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data protection practices.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Your daily answers may be retained in anonymised form for product improvement. Delivery queue records and message logs are automatically deleted after 90 days.

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct any inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and all associated data • Export your data in a portable format • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account To exercise any of these rights, email us at: hello@cedimaker.com

By providing your phone number and selecting WhatsApp or SMS as a delivery channel, you consent to receiving daily automated messages from DUT. You can stop receiving messages at any time by updating your delivery preferences in your dashboard or deleting your account. WhatsApp messages are sent via the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Standard message rates from your carrier may apply to SMS messages.

DUT uses only essential cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics or any behavioural tracking service.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS) policies. We conduct regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of DUT after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
